Ένα ωραίο ραδιόφωνο FM – AM, από την ταινία κινουμένων σχεδίων ΡΙΟ.

ΠΑΛΙΟ ΡΑΔΙΟΦΩΝΟ WARTBURG 5000

   Γερμανικό ραδιόφωνο με τέσσερεις μπάντες.

 Μεσαίων MW, μακρών LW 
και δύο βραχέων κυμάτων K1, K2.

   Έτος κατασκευής 1963.
Παρατηρείστε την διάταξη των συχνοτήτων από την μεγαλύτερη προς την μικρότερη, σε όλες τις μπάντες.

SONY SRF-35W, PRESENTATION

   This model is not made in China, but in Taiwan. It was bought in 1987. It has been working perfectly, till now. It has got exactly the same dimensions of a compact cassette case, regarding length and width, but it is about 2 mm thicker.

   I checked its performance in comparison with other small radios, in a place near the sea, Marathon, Hellas, in the morning. I found it satisfactory but not as good as Sony SRF-86 or Sangean DT-250. In medium waves it received Libya 1125 KHz and Egypt 864 KHz. No other Middle East Radio Stations heard. In local FM Radio, it had mediocre reception in weak signals.

    The advantage of this not so small radio is the graphic equalizer function which helps to shape the sound to the desired result. Another plus is the design. It is a nice looking radio.

SONY ΚΑΙ ΚΑΛΑ ...

SONY ICF-EX5MK2, JAPANESE DISPLAY EXPLAINED

   The panel of the EX5 radio consists of 10 lines which correspond to 10 regions of Japan from the north to the south. In each line there are names of Japanese cities, and names of Radios. These Japanese cities are the transmitting sites of the public broadcasting service of Japan, NHK. In the following tables, I give the transcription from Japanese to Latin characters.
